What's going on with Maynard's Groovy Bible Tunes, from day to day...
Someone asked for this, so I've done it: a ZIP file with four folders in it - Full Track MP3, Backing Track MP3, Sheet Music PDF, Acetate Master PDF. Each folder has 74 tracks in it - every single MGBT Song!
Get it here, in the store: http://www.maynardsgroovytunes.co.uk/store/complete-mp3-collection-download.html
I'm working on a new song: "STOP - it's a way to pray!" - and it'll be out soon, but in the meantime, you can hear a snippet of a rough draft by clicking here: STOP - rough snippet
That's at a kind-of 85% stage of my mixing/producing process - more work to do, as well as doing the backing track and sheet music etc.
Shouldn't be long tho...
Hope you like it! Why not comment to feedback?
Hmph, once again we've had a spate of downloads not quite working on the 'store'. Sorry about that folks.
I think that everyone has got their downloads in the end - some by their own computer-savvy, others through getting in touch and applying 'fixes' or getting attachments sent by me!
And I think it's fixed now. When you order / buy a download, and click the "Download" button, you should now get a dialog box offering you the chance to save the download. Before my fix, it was automatically opening the file - an MP3 would be played, a PDF would open in Adobe Reader, a Zip file would open in File Explorer...
What was wrong? I dunno really - something to do with a server update I think, changing the way the Store software interacts with the server. Anyway, I've altered a bit of code, changed a setting, and tested it in IE8, Firefox and Chrome, and it seems to work - for now.
Please SHOUT (ie email) again if you get problems, and I'll work it out in the end.
Thanks for your patience!
David.
I didn't realise you guys couldn't use Flash. Either I'm dim or Apple is - discuss!
Anyway - I've changed the Jukebox so that you should be able to play the music on it now from an iPhone. Let me know how you get on please!
Jade (who gave a false email, so I can't get back to her) posted this comment:
"Hi Everyone i am commenting on this Website because at our school its Great for Worship. But I would mention not the bit in the middle 'welcome to maynardsgroovytunes.co.uk' anyways otherwise its Great!!!"
Thanks Jade!
That "bit in the middle" is there as a 'watermark', let me explain: I'd love to make it possible for the whole song to be heard without interruption - but that would mean that some people would copy the files and break my copyright. So I'm sorry - the bit in the middle that interrupts it (and removes a bar of music also) will have to stay.
Why not ask your teachers to get a CD or two? Then you can sing along to the whole songs
Thanks for commenting.
